Welcome to Taste Consulting’s social capital blog. In this blog, we will share stories, advice, tips, and frameworks for how to improve your social savvy and social capital.

Generally speaking, there are 3 types of capital that pertain to business. Financial capital (money), intellectual capital (ideas) and “Social Capital”. Social Capital is your ability to get things done based on your relationship. By itself, it may not be enough to close a deal but in conjunction with the other two types of capital, it may be enough to get a potential client to agree to your proposal. Like the other two types of capital, it can be developed and we will show you how.

We’re excited to announce that filming is complete for our first product: The Power Lunch DVD, which walks you through a framework for how to conduct a power lunch and interviews with successful business people. We’re busy editing the video, organizing our online marketing, talking with corporate buyers, and writing the companion book.
